The Scottish Rite Foundation, Southern Jurisdiction, USA, Inc. offers several scholarships each year to support students pursuing higher education. These scholarships are available to qualifying applicants across the country, including members of Masonic youth organizations such as DeMolay International.
Oregon DeMolay members and families are encouraged to explore these opportunities and consider applying for the upcoming scholarship cycle. A full list of currently available scholarships can be found on the Scottish Rite Foundation website.
One scholarship that may be of particular interest is the Amy Wright Joyce Dental Hygiene Scholarship. This award was established in honor of Amy Wright Joyce, a registered dental hygienist who specialized in periodontics and exemplified excellence in her profession. The scholarship was created by Alan Adkins, 33°, Grand Cross and Sovereign Grand Inspector General in Virginia, to recognize and encourage students pursuing a career in dental hygiene.

Last year, this scholarship unfortunately went unclaimed. The Scottish Rite Foundation hopes to award it in 2026, and this presents a great opportunity for eligible students within the Masonic youth community.
